The Yuteng steel commode wheelchair is a folding self-propelled chair with a commode seat: a U-shaped opening in the seat cushion and a removable bucket underneath. Chrome-plated steel frame, rated to 100 kg (220 lb), 43 cm (16.9 in) seat, and solid 58 cm (22.8 in) rear wheels that never need inflation. It folds to 30 cm (11.8 in) wide for ward storage and corridor parking between uses.

The specification table shows the standard configuration. Upholstery, bucket type and branding are confirmed per order — tell us the target market and we quote to it.

The Commode Function: U-Seat and Removable Bucket

The seat opening is the reason this model exists: a user who cannot reach the bathroom uses the chair where it stands, and the bucket underneath removes for emptying and washing without tools. The bucket surface is smooth for easy cleaning, and the seat pad carries the same opening so nothing has to be moved at the moment of use.

In a ward routine the commode cycle runs several times a day, so every part of it is tool-free: the bucket lifts out, the opening wipes down with the seat, and nothing needs a spanner or a spare part to keep the function working.

For programs that need the reclining version — a tilting backrest on the same commode function — see our reclining commode wheelchair; the two models split the budget and premium ends of the same ward list.

Chrome Steel Frame, Fixed Armrests and Institutional Duty

The frame is 22 x 1.2 mm steel tube, welded and chrome-plated — the build that survives shared, around-the-clock use. At 18.5 kg (40.8 lb) it is heavier than an aluminum chair, and that is deliberate: this is the chair that gets wiped down dozens of times a day and stays in service.

The armrests are fixed rather than removable, with leather pads and stainless steel guard plates on the wear edges. Fixed armrests are stronger and cheaper to maintain — the right trade where the chair belongs to a facility rather than a person. The chrome plating on the frame is the same argument: it wipes clean through hundreds of cleaning cycles and shows damage immediately, so facility staff can see when a frame needs attention.

Solid Wheels, Dual Brakes and the Reversible Pedals

The 58 cm (22.8 in) rear wheels are solid rubber on steel rims with electroplated handrims — no inflation, no flat tires in storage, and the user can self-propel. Front casters are 20 cm (8 in) PVC on plated forks.

Dual brakes on a steel parking assembly hold the chair parked during transfers. The footrest frame is fixed for rigidity, while each pedal is die-cast aluminum, height-adjustable and reversible, with a leg strap — the combination wards ask for when one chair serves users of different heights across a shift.

Folding and Container Loading

The frame folds to 30 cm (11.8 in) wide — storage against a ward corridor wall or between beds. Packed at one per 92 × 28 × 88 cm carton, a 40HQ holds roughly 260-295 units; mixed containers with our other commode and wheelchair models are routine, and the count is calculated per order because carton sizes differ across the range.

Ordering and OEM

There is no fixed MOQ — trial orders and sample-based programs are welcome. Lead time is 40-50 days. Certifications follow the destination market: FDA, CE, ISO 13485 and TUV framework papers, with labels and manuals in the market's language. Frequently Asked Questions

Is the armrest comfortable and protected against wear?

Yes. The armrests are fixed, with smooth leather pads and a stainless steel guard plate along the wear edge — the configuration that survives shared, day-in-day-out use.

Does it have a secure braking system?

Yes. The chair carries dual brakes on a steel parking assembly, so it stays parked on ward floors and during transfers.

Are the footrests strong and adjustable?

The footrest frame is fixed for rigidity, but each pedal is die-cast aluminum, height-adjustable and reversible, with a leg strap.

Is the commode bucket easy to clean?

Yes. The bucket has a smooth surface for easy cleaning and removes for emptying and washing without tools.

Is the seat padding durable?

Yes. The seat is leatherette over sponge with a canvas back cushion, reinforced with metal strips so it holds its shape through repeated cleaning cycles.

How strong is the frame?

The frame is built for heavy-duty institutional use: 22 x 1.2 mm steel tube, welded and chrome-plated.
